When VisionIdentity detects differences between your Business Central records and the CPR or CVR registers, the proposed changes are placed in the Identity Change Journal. This lets you review the differences before applying them to customer, vendor, or employee records.

Changes are placed in the journal when the Auto Accept Updates setting is turned off for the relevant register (CPR or CVR), or when running a batch update.

Note

You must first set up the integration on the Identity Integration Setup page. To learn more, go to Setting up Identity Integration.

To review and apply changes

  1. Choose the Search icon, enter Identity Change Journal, then choose the related link.
  2. Review the journal lines. Each line shows the current Business Central values alongside the new values from the register.
    • Fields with differences are highlighted in red for easy identification.
    • Use the Current Values and New Values FactBoxes on the right side for a detailed field-by-field comparison.
  3. Select the lines you want to apply.
  4. Choose the Update Selected action.
  5. The selected records are updated with the new values and marked as transferred.

Tip

The journal opens filtered to show only untransferred lines. To see previously transferred lines, remove the filter on the Transferred field.

Understanding the journal fields

Each journal line shows two sets of fields side by side:

  • BC fields (left side): Current values in your Business Central record — name, address, city, post code, blocked status, and CPR/CVR status.
  • CVR/CPR fields (right side): New values retrieved from the register — name, c/o name, address, city, post code, and status.

The Query Type field indicates whether this was a CPR (person) or CVR (company) lookup, and the Query Date shows when the query was performed.
